mixing audio and video

    hi not sure if this is in the right forum but here goes.

    does anybody know of a tool that can be used to replace the audio of an avi video with the audio of another. i have a copy of a movie that is real good quality but its in italien and i have another copy in english that has a bad pic, is it possible to replace the audio and tweek it so it is in perfect sync with the video, if so how

    Yes!!! You need to demux your files... demux stands for demultiplex which means in basic splitting your audio and video files from the original.

    Demux both files, the one with the good audio and bad video (and viceversa). To demuxing there are many tools, such as VirtualDub, but I usually demux with DVDLab Pro. I'm sure rebootjim or other members will point out other practical tools.

    Once demuxed select the video and audio files and use an authoring program, such as DVDLab Pro to create your DVD project...

    Finally burn!
