Hi, I got an Mkv file with dual audio (Japanese & english). I want to burn it with the english audio. I tried to use TMPGE Xpress to convert the Mkv to Mpeg to burn with nero 8. It converted fine except that the audio is Japanese. I tried to extract with Mkvextract but I can't seem to get it to work. Virtualdub Mod gives me an error (only handles [s_text/] subs at the moment). I can play the file in media player classic and select the english audio stream so I know it's there but I can't access it to burn.

    Help, thanks in advance.

    Try AviMux GUI
Drag the file onto the top pane, highlight the file then press 'generate source data'
The Streams should be listed in the lower window.
Un-check the 'All audio streams' box, then deselect the individual audio streams that are not required.
    Select one as the default.

I am having the same problem. I tried using AviMux GUI and it says everything is successful but when I try to play the mkv the subs show but even though the audio is ticked on I hear no sound.

Are you sure you have selected one audio track to be muxed with the video and subs?

    Try mkvmerge GUI.

I am assuming you were able to hear the sound before you processed it with Avimux?
