Whats with this mkv container that requires hours & hours of conversion to make a dvd? Why cant something be used to just make an ISO file thats ready to burn? I tried using Avi2DVD like this forum suggests to make a dvd from a mkv file and right off the bat trying to open the .mkv file I get a "Interface not supported"?
Install these and then try again with Avi2DVD. That VP6 might be enough but im not sure. If it isnt install that other one also. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/VP6.htm http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Matroska_Pack.htm
VSO Convertx to DVD can convert mkv to DVD pretty quick.Although it does depend on how much RAM you have and how fast your computer is. I have 1gb RAM and it converts a mkv file in 1-2 hrs.
