I've scanned about a bit and can't see a guide, but appologies if I've missed it. Is there any free software or is Riverpast the only way of converting? The only other software I can see has to have the audio and video slit seperately and I don't fancy having to do that as I have s... loads of files to do an it sounds a bit of a pain. Many thanks, Tim
Ok so far the only program that can transcode MKV directly to ipod is WinAvi Ipod converter, how ever is a paying software, this will take the hi def signal and transcode to mpeg4 without much degradation, now you can get Avi2Dvd is free and it wil convert The MKV to AVI you now can use Videora also free to convert the new Avi file into mp4 that ipod understand also known as h.264, if you have some questions here a link for MKV to avi tutorial here on afterdawn. Good Luck. MKV 2 DVD
Umm not true. There's a guide on here that works great. I've used it and so far my only problem is that the video resolution is too big for the iPod screen. Here's the link. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/arc...for_play_on_iphone_ipod_touch_using_super.cfm
