I'm trying to convert a 10.1Gb mkv file to .iso, to use in DVD-shrink to edit and create another .iso, to burn in imgburn (to a DVD+R DL), but I'm having problems with Shrink or Imgburn. Here's what I did:

    1. I made the img with imgburn. Before that, I got a message to change file system to UDF. So I did that, and used revision 1.02 (since from what I've researched 1.02 is for DVDs, and 2.05/2.06 is for HD-DVD & Blu-ray).

    2. Then after making the img, I opened it with DVD shrink and it said the UDF file system was invalid, and it would not open.

Should I be using a different software like DVD-Rebuilder, instead of DVD-Shrink? I’ve never used DVD-Rebuilder before, and I’m concerned about how the quality differs from Shrink (but that’s another topic on itself).
I've even tried with DVDFab Platinum and it won't open. I've seemed to accidently deleted the logs for imgburn. I will burn another img and post it soon if it helps.

Any help on how to fix this or if I should use a different program, would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    mike.m

Ok here's the log as promised. Also not sure if it is a related problem, but when I play the movie in KM player the audio is way out of sync. Could that be a file problem of software/hardware problem?

You cannot use Shrink or Rebuilder for this purpose

Should I be using a different software first before shrink or imgburn? I'm thinking of maybe using convertxtodvd, but are there any other "better" programs. By better, I mean offer better video and audio quality after conversion. I've also read some reviews that convertxtodvd will sometimes make a movie out of sinc with the audio when converting .mkvs. Haven't tried it yet though. Just wondering what other programs to use...

Why are you going thru all this trouble with a mkv file? Just go back to your disc and re-encode it.
