Hi everyone this is my first post and i will greatly appreciate your help.

My Goal: Convert MKV to PS3
-I want to be able to turn on and off Subs.
-I dont want to lose quality.

I have MKV movies with H.264 video and AC3 audio.
I have a SRT Sub that I will be adding into the MKV movie Via tsMuxer

I know I can use tsMuxer to convert my MKV file into AVCHD which will play on the PS3 w/out any problems but i want to be able to have subs.

Ive been able to turn my DVD into an AVI with Xvid and AC3 streams AND be able to switch on/off Subs. Im hopeing to do the same with my MKV movies.

Ive put in countless days and frustration into achieving my goal but i still cant figure it out. Please help me figure this out.

Have you tried using tsmuxer to mux into m2ts files. You'll want to add video and subs then mux to m2ts file.

First of all thank you 13echo4 for your time helping me with my problem.
Ok so yes i have tried using tsmuxer to mux into m2ts files. Problem is that everytime I add my MKV file and .SRT file into tsmuxer then Mux to .m2ts TSMUXER converts my .SRT file into .PGS which is unreadable on the ps3- as far as i know.
PLEASE correct me if im wrong.

I can't tell you are wrong, cause I don't know about that one. Tsmuxer coverts my .srts to sups. Is it possible that your subrips have some kind of uncabatibilty issue w/ tsmuxer? Tsmuxer had a problem w/ italics and boldface subtitles. Does your have these type of fonts? I don't know if tsmuxer can change those fonts, but subtitle workshop can get rid of them for you.

So are you telling me that the ps3 can read .sup subs?
How do you get subtitle workshop to get rid of the italics/boldface?
I dont know if my srt file has italics or boldface.
