Well I been able to get video in the mkv file encoded in x264 to convert to mpeg2 but the only thing that I need know is the audio.Its in aac format.SO I need something to convert it to wav so I can mux it with the mpeg2 file.The reason I ask this is because I play my anime on my xbox via XBMC but content encoded in x264 dropps to many frames...SO its not watchable.So I will reencode the mkv to mpeg2 watch it then delete it.....

Thanks that helped...But Im using Belight to convert it to ac3.Cuz most dvd players support ac3 and the files comes out much smaller.So I can raise the bitrate on the video.
I also converted to AC3 eventually. using the wav file obtained from aacDecDrop, i then used ffmpeggui to transcode the audio to ac3...maybe something to consider?
