Hello, I have the dragon ball z remastered collection on my hard drive and I also have the subtitle files for each episode. I was wondering if there is any way that I can somehow embed the subtitles into the .mkv files so that I can select the subtitles as I would the different audio files. Thank you for any help that you can give and please try to simplify any hints as I am not very experienced with altering video or audio files and have never before done anything with subtitles.

MKVMerge (part of MKVToolNix) can be used to add subtitles to existing MKV files.

Run MKVMerge GUI, load the MKV then add the subtitles.
You can click on the subtitle and set the language name (else it will be listed as 'und').

In the image, you can see that I added two subtitle files (a .srt and an .ssa).
