Hi all just a quick question not sure if im in the right place on the forum applogies if i am, but here it goes .I have recently bought a HDD media player to connect to me tv which also has HDMI on the media player ,if i download a movie thats mkv and convert it to vob with mkv2vob and then transfer it onto my media player as vob file which the media player supports WILL IT SCALE DOWN THE QUALITY AFTER CONVERTING ?If so will it be any better than a standard dvd quality ? I understand it will depend on the original quality and compression of the mkv file but will it get worse converting to vob please if anyone can help i would be very greatfull
Without the specifics of of the 'HDD media player' and the of the MKV, your question is unanswerable.
Hi what is it you need to know about the media player and the file ? The media player is http://www.iomega-europe.com/section?SID=e47b68d4512d0e46a698249f12f487e4cb6:4725&secid=39289 in the 500gb size , now the file can be any media file in mkv that i download does it matter which one ? And i have 50" philips plasma tv that is High Def ready ?
