Hi, I'm using MKVextract GUI to extract the video, audio, and subtitle components of an mkv file. I'm doing this because virtualdubmod cannot work with mkv files that contain vobsubs, and the file I'm using contains vobsubs. So I open up my file (details below) and select the parts I want to extract. My problem is that the original video is 23:20 min long, but the extracted video is 23:26 min long. I've tried reinstalling and extracting several times, but the results are the same. I tried extracting a different mkv video, and the time actually matches. So my question is, how come the video file is longer than the actual input file? It's causing my video to be out of sync with the audio and subtitles.

I've read some stuff about avisynth and mkv2vfr that can change the variable frame rate of an mkv to a constant one so that everything is in synce, but I have absolutely no idea how to use them. Could someone provide me with instructions to use them if they can in fact fix my problem.
