Plzzz help I dont know if this has ever happened and if there is a guide to fix if there is sorry for posting but....

I really need help figure what happened here.

ok get ready i love avi2dvd cause i can make dvds, and i use it all the time the programs i use are virtual dub, avi2dvd and image burn like from that tutorial everything works fine then sometimes on virtual dub the audio dosent match so i figure theres nothing else i can do so i make a different dvd well it just so happens i found a really good mkv merger like virtual dub except it joins mkv and i need that for a few. So i join it and i make a disc it great! but on my next disc i realize something it joins the files even if that have a different audio sampling rate (well i think it does) im like cool and i end up making another disc and after i thought well virtual dub doesnt join ifn it have a different audio rate maybe theres a programs that joins it anyway so i was on the search for a new avi joiner lol. anyways i found a few and i installed them all of them were trials so i was like damn i dont think ill find any so i deleted them from my system. and went on to my last mkv disc.....

    PROBLEM!

When i join it, it joined fine and then i went on to avi2dvd and i tried opening the file and it was like "Interface Not Supported" im like what... the???? so i guessed that it was cause it was too long so i tried one i had previously join form disc 2 and it said the same.
So i tried playing it and i noticed that the subs on the mkv file were like flickering in and out and when i tried skipping (oh i use windows media player classic) it just cut the sound out for like 5 sec and then it came back on. soooo now im wondering could the things i downloaded be the cause what should i dooo need help.

it cant be the codecs cause they were working yesterday!

    INFO (read):

    Ok everything i use:

Widows media player classic (note:i never had probs in past so rule that out)

mkvmerger (i wouldnt think that would have done it i used it for 3 days with no hassle)

avi2dvd ( I sure there wouldnt be a problem with this)

my codecs hmm i use divx and the mkv combine community codec somthing or other (maybe it got corrput ???)

things i downloaded(remember these are just for join my avi that did have the sae audio sampling rate):

    Ultra video joiner i think
    ezjoiner i think
    boilsoft i think
i used more but i cant remember

    ----------------
could it be a virus i honestly dont know whats wrong with it.

all the virus scanners i used to try to fix
    Virus scanner:
    spybot:s&d
    avast
    malwarebytes
    superantispyware

if i need another scanner tell me please to try to fix this problem

If you need any more info about this problem ask and ill try too tell you

    What i think is prob:

    1. codec maybe corrupt (i have no clue)
    2. VIRUS!
    3. .... avi joiners did somthing to my comp

    I wouldnt know anything else

Should i delete my codecs and reinstall them?

If you guys could help big thanks.

I shouldnt think its a virus but im open to any solution to fix this =D wait im not gonna do a systems recovery, i tried the other one that takes it back to a point in time but it was unsucessful.

P.S the virus scanners couldnt have anything to do cause i downloaded a few after the thing happened.

Oh yeah almost forgot when i was deleteing one of the avi joiners it came out with this thing in system 32 i think and it said do you want to delete this to if another program is useing it it could cause problems so i left it undeleted could that have caused it?? But basically im pretty sure its the avi joiners not avi2dvd not the mkvmerger not imageburn not windows media player classic.

    SORRY for big post =)

    Thanks

I honestly dont know what caused it but atleast its fixed =D

P.S Thanks again MysticE for link of that avi joiner! works well joins it even tho it has a different auido sampling rate (i thinks that it) do you know a good one like that can join mp4's i dont really wanna dowload one you need to install is there one like the one you linked?

With Avi2DVD have you tried merging/joining within the app itself?

    Tips :
    1) In dvd mode (dvd input) you must rip your dvd with dvddecrypter in IFO MODE.
    2) In avi mode if you have an avi/mkv/ogm [not wmv] with parts cd1, cd2, cd3... you can load as unique avi renaming the avis like this :
    Matrix CD1.avi
    Matrix CD2.avi
    Matrix CD3.avi
    etc...
Now just load the Matrix CD1.avi
Renaming your files like this, avi2dvd will join these avis automatically and will produce an unique film. This tip is valid also for ogm/mkv.
    3) Like the tip 2) if you have an srt/txt with two or more parts and want to join them then just rename them like this :
    Matrix English Cd1.srt
    Matrix English Cd2.srt
    Matrix English Cd3.srt
    etc...
Just load the Matrix English Cd1.srt
    Avi2dvd will join these srt.
