hi e, its the eurovox TX for MMDS. I have a square mess one which hasnt changed. The only thing they did change was the square recieve box in the middle of the mess where the co-axil runs into. So it was all working before and I have new UPsee boxes but that shouldnt matter.

So I'm wondering has the reciever in the mess made a difference to the signal, or is it running on difference frequencies... ie do I need ti update he TX to pick up the 2185000 (ithink) freq thats its running on.

Has anyone a EuroVox TX running on new UpC installation... thanks

It looks like you have been switched to exNTL mmds.
Your new UPC mediabox is for dvb-c and nomore for dvb-t.

thanks for you help and patience folks... just wish I had the confidence just to but another EuroVox instead on UPCC... Duh!

I have setup config for brother. Have put downconverter between dish and cable system in his house. What he has is a connection from ariel to downconverter. then this connection feeds into multi-distribution point which leads to TV points around his house. No issue. Works fine for him. So its not about the box (he has multiple boxes around his house), its about the distribution system. Each box he has on the distribution system works fine. Does this help or do you need to know more?

look under your new box from your provider does it say ITD 60 or ITD 70 or what does it say if its says other than above you have been moved to dvb-c option by them if it says ITD 70 your channels are now running on N3 only which means no other dodgy box will work for you let me know

thanks E45. I checked under both boxes and at the back but couldnt see the ITD 60 or 70. There was just serial numbers like DC16211UPC
and the model of the box. Is there anywhere in the setup that would tell me...

    thanks again

ah sorry fintannl... thanks for the response but its not a wiring issue as the wiring hasnt changed. Only thing that changed was that they took off a 6inche by 6 inch flat box from the aerial and now I can get the euro vox to work.

Only good thing though is that they forgot to take the 6inch aerial box... but then I,m not sure if I put that on... will the eurovox work and the 2 new boxes from Upsee stop .. !

    Alright lads,
my aunt has a UPC box and they sent her the new card. She was using the Eurovox box so was afraid to use the card. Then the signal stopped working so she had to use the card. Did it last week and the Eurovox box is still working. Not sure how but the new one is definitely the Nagra 3 version and the box is still going. Maybe the signal is not transmitting via Nagra 3 yet?

    thanks e45..

I got these settings fromt the box if they mean anything..

    Activation Code : 132
    Region :4
    Network ID : 43230
    Home Frequency : 258000
    Symbol 6887
    Modulation QAM 64

Not sure if these will confirm if I'm on dvb-c or not. If I am can I still use my Eurovox e45, or how do I get going again. Should I wire the old 6 inch receive (dont know its real name) back to the aerial..

OR can I edit the config settings on the Euro Vox to some new settings for DVB-C
    thanks D

You should check where you feed is now coming from?
Either via a cable from the street or from the aerial.
If your feed is still coming from the aerial your aerial should now pointing at a other direction than befor.

Ah cant believe that E45...LMAO - rookie mistake getting them back in but I got a good run of it.

Mgb17 - yes you are bang on, aerial is in a different position and have a new head. If I really want to get this going again, I suppose I can as I can wire up the old head and point the aerial back but then I,m not 100% sure that the new boxes form Upsee will work... just can win eh?

thanks all - and regards -D
