Hey, anyone know where I can get a signal booster for my MMDS signal?? On my box-t I have values for level at 85% and quality at 40%. Some channel pictures break up and lose sound etc. Any help would be great.
Hello M8, Are you using eurovox V box? As this is a known problem with this box. If yes, then you will notice the problem of picture break-up/freezing is more prone to lower frequency transponder channels. What I did to sort this problem on my cable box was that I brought myself Konig AMP-PRO30 amplifier and ready made 1.5m F Plug Coaxial Lead. Combined cost of these two about £30. There is adjust facility on the amp for gain and skew settings. You can by these from number of places and I brought mine from w*w.beststuff.co.uk. For ideal operation ensure cable box and any cables connected to it are not sitting/interfering with other devices/cables as other signals can easyly interfear with the cable input signal. Then all you need to do is adjust the gain/skew settings at the lowest frequency transponder channel so that the problem dispears. I hope this helps, it has cerainly help myself. Good Luck Sukib
