can someone give me the link to update to the version after 3.11 final retail or what ever.. cuz i have a razr v3 and it wont connect and its not a choice for devices.
alsoo.. im not sure if my phone is locked or unlocked.. i can use it and eveything.. does it have to be unlocked to use mpt?
It does not have to be unlocked to use MPT. The problem could be your USB cable. It has to be a USB 2.0 cable. Unlocking means a SIM card from any carrier will work in your phone. Unlocking a phone is important when you want to switch carriers (and keep the same phone) or if you use more than one carrier but only want to use a particular phone. Some people buy pre-paid SIM cards in other countries while on vacation. Sometimes, the reason people are desperate to have a phone unlocked is because it has been stolen and they want to sell it or use it with a different carrier. If you use T-Mobile, they will give you the unlocking instructions free after you have been a customer for awhile (I think either 90 days or 6 mos.).
