i will be putting together a system and want some advice on what brand of motherboard and video card to look for. i will be running a q6600 quad core, 4X1GB of OCZ dual channel high performance DDR2 800MHz. I will not be doing any gaming but will be working with video encoding/decoding and CS3. The above components are what's eft of a fatal attempt to improve on a dell workstation, i am just not happy. i will not be overclocking right off the bat but want to leave my options open for the future.

    Perhaps one of these?

Trying to find a good board to replace the old EP35-DS3R from gigabyte is proving difficult - the EP45-DS3R ships with a BIOS revision that rarely boots at all, and this particular board has more than a few spates of DOA due to failed PCI express ports...

That looks pretty good actually, I wonder what it's long term reliability is like.

don't actually know, the board has good reviews, and on Newegg, there aren't any bad reviews either
