Hello everyone, I was trying to find a motherboard that supports both PCI-express and AGP. However, I wasn't sure if I would go with the chipset since I'm a fan of nforce 4 and nvidia and also AMD processors. But for those of you who love P4's here's one that I found on the Inet. VIA PT880 Pro http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/chipsets/p4-series/pt880pro/ For those of you who can find a mobo that supports both PCI-E and AGP that uses the nforce 4 chipset and AMD processors, let me know. Thanks guys.
The only AGP & PCI-E mobo that i know of is is the ASRock 939Dual - sata 2 http://www.asrockamerica.com/Products/939DSATA2.htm and that uses the ULi m1695 chipset, rugripper uses it & is in love with it (lol), as far as i know there isn't a Nforce 4 dual mobo ..... ASRock also do a dual P$ mobo http://www.asrockamerica.com/Products/P4Dual915gl.htm
the motherboard is fast as hell.dosent have a nforce 4 chipset but who cares.theres a review about it on annandtech.com if you want to read about it.ya man, love my mobo, got to love something.hate my wife[lol]trying to overclock it is another story.there a german bios floating around thats suppose to be good, also asrock just updated bios again so maybe the numbers are on the bios now.i hope.vcore of 1.45 is too low for overclocking.got to tell you again love my mobo[lol]
hey bro, if you do get mobo make sure you use the 1.3 bios and get your 1695 intergrated drivers from uli electronics.dont use the agp 3.0 driver on the asrock site.it really sucks the monkeys dong[lol]...peace
