    Hey Guys,
I'm sure you've seen this generic title over and over and over again. I hope this hasnt happend to other people. I sent my PS2 v7 out to get modded by a pro. I sent the Matrix Infinity chip along with it. I got the whole package back in roughly 3 weeks. With much excitement i ripped open the package and hooked it up. I turned it on and BAM!.....nothing. The little power light was on and it changed from red to green but nothing came up on my tv screen nor did the blue light turn on, on the "eject button". I don't know really what to do because I'm not saavy with the PS2 hardware, but I believe the eject problem has to deal with the ribbon (yeh it wouldn't even open). Any guidance or productive commentary would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think its the eject ribbon. Since this was a pro I doubt he forgot to plug it in. It sounds more like a bios chip problem. It would be an easy fix for me or any other installer but for you it may be difficult. I suggest you talk to your "pro" and have him fix it for you.

The only problem is, the pro is only on sporadically, and it's hard to reach him now and then. I live in ohio and he lives in Illinois, so it's even harder. Maybe i should look up at professional closer to home???

Go to http://chipinstallation.com and see if you can find some one closer to you. Also if you would like, I can take a look at it for you. I am in Phoenix AZ.
