Also if you do not want to be bothered with the hassle of installing the mod and replacing the drive, you could always order an install service and let them do all the work for you :)

The aladdin is a cheap mod, and in my opinion it is not that great of a cheapmod. They do not have reliable support, they do not always work on all versions of the xbox. They only have 256KB BIOS bank.

If you are going for a cheap mod I recommend then DUOX2 its only $19.99 it has 1MB bios storage across 2 512KB banks. These chips work on ALL xbox versions to date and have more support then the Aladdin chips.

For a couple dollars more you could have a Xecuter2.6 LITE chip only $32 these chips have an ENORMOUS FOLLOWING and amazing support.

There are alot of good chips out there, but your going to be looking at spending $40 - 60 including shipping for a good one.

if you want a good customer friendly chip, your not going to get that for $19 or less you will need to spend a couple extra bucks. But its well worth it. The extra money now will save you many headaches in the near future :)

I still say the XENIUM ICE is your best bet

Well, if you want a chip that has the best support team behind it get the Xecuter 3CE chip. Any problems you will ever run into down the line will be answered quickly because it is the most popular chip on the market. They also offer a solderless adaptor, but it is easy enough anyways soldering the wires on yourself, even if your a beginner solderer....
