Yeah theres a way round.... dont use the bogus wave lines make your own or the hundereds of others ppl made....

 

i do use the ones that other people use, i download them. but i dont no what bogus means :S. i like oe-c, but its one thing aftera another. i flashed everything apart from the xmb lines, now my battery keeps disappearing and appearing, i think it is because of the game_plugin.rco file.

 

Damn, John. Why is it I have NEVER had ONE single problem w/ 3.03 OE-C? Every problem ppl mention, it's never affected me. I have the wallpaper problem, but I don't care. As long as the colours look good. (And they do.)

Oh, I wasn't trying to start eScraps, I was simply pointing out the fact I have no idea where these probs are coming from; It's odd. I guess I feel lucky. Take a good look at the system_plugin_bg.rco from ANY FW above 1.00 bogus and check the code; Maybe you'll be able to see where the code differs and then you'll be able to modify one of the strings in the 1.00 Bogus Azura to make the bg disappear so you can see your gameboot w/ a wallpaper set. It's worth a try, tho very tedious. You may want to see if you find a kind-hearted dev to take a look at it to see what the problem is.

 

oh okay, no problem. and i really aint that clever. i dont even understand what bogus means lol. and the codes are confusing. i will jus leave it, i wont use a wall paper and keep the xmb waves . thanks anyways. gonna upload a couple more xmbs then to bed .

 

You only need one vsh.txt, and put both prxs in it, so it looks like this.

ms0:/seplugins/irsmp3.prx

ms0:/seplugins/svcapture.prx


Not sure if that's how your capture.prx is named, just cut the text from its vsh.txt and paste it into the one from irsmp3.prx, that way you can have both.

touran, got a link to a nice thin blue active wavey waves that will work with a wallpaper?? lol.. please im dyin to complete the whole XMB thing.. this is the final step for me..

forget that= i figured it out. i made one of my wallpapers into 335x190 and saved it as 01-12.bmp- which means that this pic will be the bg and the waves will be on top of it. i can use other photos as wallpaper, but only the one 01-12 will have wavs. the theme wont have any other bg, they all corrupt, but the one i saved and will be there, till i replace it with a dope wave to go with it. this leaves me on the lookout for nice photos to go with my wavy waves.. ty to all again!!
