4th or 5th post down. Is that info in the same .rco as the battery display?

I'm thinking it's not the same .rco as the battery, simply b/c the battery is in the "foreground", hence the "fg" in "sytem_plugin_fg.rco". It's prolly another plugin b/c the volume display pops up when you mess w/ the volume. But then again, you may be right. Who knows?

To the two that I promised my XMB swapper (submenu icon) changer thingy - Sorry I didn't upload and send links yet; when I got home, there was a parking ban b/c of the snow and I had no where to park. As a result of this, I spent the night at my Grandparents' house last night. I'll get that stuff up tonight.

 

Aight check this ppl! this has custom Bootwave, Custom Text and and Custom sound (obviously u cant hear the sound or see teh wave properly but its there!)

 

touran did you hex edit the opening plugin to get that ?

offcourse it can be done. sorry u guys took my word in teh wrong way lol.

You extract the startup text from the opening_plugin.rco and then you photoshop that. then re insert it back into your opening_plugin!

lol i didn just do that u guys lol. its actually there. But changing the bootwaves and sound is alot more trickier.

 

sorry to be a pain but can you be alil more specific. so you tpye the test you need in photoshop lol and how do you convert that to hex :S lol im real confused LMAO (yes i am a n00b)

Well if you go to his site (lan.sh) you will see why... stick around and read the guys posts)

And u extract the boot text with RCO editor (by Zinga) and save it as a 32bit .BMP file. then photoshop it to say what ever u want. then re insert into your opening plugin (again with RCo editor) Flash the baby to resourcs and voila....

Like i said if u want the sounds and the boot wave its a lot more trickier!

I always thought harley g was a wanker b/c he stole McZonk's idea of the Dual boot. I guess it was whomever made it first, but still... harley g could've given credit to McZonk. (McZonk is the author of PSPset)

Touran, I might ask you to make me a cold boot screen, homie. Simply b/c I don't have Photoshop. Do you get to keep the sound when you hex edit your cold boot intro? B/c I don't wanna lose the sound. I like the "Aaaaahh". But if you could make me one, that would be cool. If you can, just make it say "hacked by ibawanzingee"???

But you have to admit, his dualboot was really good. however he is still a idiot, o well.

And regarding your boot up, i though u said to me yesterday, you didn care about that and that you only see the startup a few times and not alot!! !!!!

i will try to make it for you... (im not really good at photoshop lol)
But not now, i have a whole load of course work.... shesh never new it was there till today! lol
