.mod to .avi

    hi, i have a JVC GZ-MG20U and i have searched all over the web but i cant find any good converters. if someone can recommend me a good program that they use and like i would really appreciate it.

    Those .MOD files are MPEG-2 files. If the program you are trying to open them with doesn't like the .MOD extention, rename it by changing the .MOD to .MPG.

    If I recall, the camera came with some conversion software. I only used it once, though, and I can't remember much about it. My two favorite progams for these files are Video Redo and Womble.

    i tried renaming it but its still a .mod file ill try out programs that you said. thnx for the reply
