I just bought a Xenium ICE modchip and i think my eeprom is fried. I ordered the modchip to fix my dash because it wasn't working. Will this fix my problem or will the screwed EEPROM disable my chp? Please help!
DANG. So, i cant even run the setup program on the chip or run EvoX, emulators, applications or anything?!?!?! (I just bought a 50 dolla chip for nuthin!!!) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Please tell me where to get a new EEPROM or somthing please!!!!
I don't know what to tell you if you tried to fuxx0r your TSOP in a Tightarse attempt at Softmod Flashing your TSOP your Fuxx0rd! It's that simple. There's a lot of Sh*t stored on that Chip that the XBOX™ needs in order for it to work. There are upwords of noless then Five Sub-Keys, under which One of 'em is your (XBOX Live!™), On-Line Key! So you can forever scratch that! That plus the Other Four 'Sub-Keys' eventually get Hashed into a unique 20-bit (xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx), Key that is used to unlock your HDD. Without this key your XBOX™ can not unlock your HDD and you'll find yourself stareing down an 'Error 06': Can not unlock the HDD. So it's time to chuck your 'ol 8~10'ie Gib HDD for a nice +200Gib One! Now the only thing I know for sure is that you can eventualy use Cracked Firmware Images (i.e. EvoX or Xecuter x), These Firmwares do not require you to have your HDD locked. But, You'll probably will never be able to run a Retail Firmware ever again! (i.e. Booting stright into M$Dash),. As for the M$Dash itself... That is not I repeat NOT on the TSOP it has nothing to with the Firmware. The M$Dash, like all Dashboards, are stored on the HDD. A Modchip when properly setup with the correct Firmware Image for your version of the XBOX™ (which could be ticky in so far that there are currently no less then Eight versions out in the Wild!), You need to know where your Box falls in the line of sucession. In order to use the correct Firmware version. You can do this now before your Chip arrives. So that you'll be ready for it when it comes. You can also Download a Slayers 2.x ISO Image and burn that onto a CD-R\RW (Must be a RW!!) or a DVD±R\RW. Install your Chip, then insert the Slayers Disc. Cycle the Power (if need be!), let the XBOX™ boot the Disc. Then follow the on Screen Instructions!!
dang. So i can still run like Xbconnect right? Also, once I get the slayer thing and install the chip, my problems might me over? Also, i can save stuff to the HDD cuz 2 days ago i booted Halo, saved an accounnt and its still there. Im a noob, remember. LOL ya dude it sucks ass
