    hi ive got a v4 ps2 and a ricoh dvd/+r/+rw i just want to no is there a chip that will make my v4 play +r media or do i need a newer ps2

    Make a DVD backup following one tof the tutorials in the other forums here at aD. Then put it in your PS2 and if it plays then it will work. If not then you have your answer.

    if you have a v 4 than you dont need a chip to make your ps2 recognise +r the v4 allready does

    i alredy have tried that and it didnt work but ive only got a standard chip and in other fourums it said you need a v5 or higher to play +r media is this true or can i just change my chip
