Hey, i'm just wondering......if i have a modded dashboard and i sign into live, will i be banned? i play halo 2 but have nothing modded in it. the only modded thing on my box is my dashboard. will i be alright signing into live?
hey i think that guy is full of it just cause you have a mod on your xbox dont mean you will get banned its only if you use mods like um auto aim or runing fast mods like that for halo2, so if you just have a modded dashboard for the sol resion just to change that green color no it is not moding theres a difference and BUNGIE.NET would not search your xbox for a different dashboard like if you like the games you can download on it do thats kool but dont use any HALO2 mods to cheat but i do KNOW for a FACT that if you rent halo2 man save it to your XBOX YOU can get banned for going live with that so if you have the disc and you just like the extra mods like changeing that gay green color and extra stuff like that its fine man iight thats good you dont have any HALO 2 mods and you have a moded dash board im going to mod my dashboard so i can change some shit but good luck at halo2 man if you want to play send me a friend request and say you read this or i will just ignore you iight man my names DEATH167 peace
i have to agree with death because if you just have a modded dashboard you cant get banned but, hacked files yes you will get caught after a while
ok i'm just checkin cuz i really hate the ms dashboard and i'd like to use my xbox for more than just playin games... but i'm still uneasy about it. my 2nd xb live account got suspended from halo 2 mathcmaking because i had modded content...... just bein paranoid maybe heh btw, i modded ONCE in a UNRANKED matchmaking game....and i was banned like instantly. so for all you modders who plan on cheating anywhere near matchmaking, ur account's gonna get owned. kinda funny tho.... i wasnt host in that game so half my modded stuff didnt even work haha

Actually no, if you install a different dashboard other than the MS dashboard then you can't even get on Live. The only way I know of to get Live to work is install a Mod chip and have a switch on it to either boot the Mod chip or the MS chip. Plus you wouldn't get banned either by going that route. Now me, I couldn't get Live to work after installing different dashboard. It refers to files that are located in the MS dash.
