whenever i try to load my modded maps, they always fail. i use encrytomatic signature, and then i use samesig2 or cmr. Can someone tell me y it wont work. i talked to another modder and told them wat i modded on my map and they said it should work. SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!
This is what I do. I mod the maps with DotHalo then once I have finished editing the tags I click the "Save Changes" the the Tag Editor menu. From there I click on Fix Encryption. Once I do that I then Open the map up in Coolspot's Map Resigner and sign the map. This has always worked for me so I'm pretty sure it should work for you. If not you may need a new version of the plug-ins, DotHalo, or CMR.
you dont acutlly need to use the map resigner cause you already fixed your encryption, just ftp it back to the box after the encryption fix in dot halo and see if it works, and if it doesnt then you may have to use a fresh map and start from scratch.
but whenever it doesnt work i start from scratch and it still doesnt work. can someone tell me step by step in detail of wat i have to do. if are going to do the step-by-step thing start from after i modded the map with dothalo (i make my own mods).
ok fisrt take of halo 2 from your hdd including gamesaves, then put it back in and follow the tut in my signature. did you make your own mod or are you using a ppf.
hey heres a step-by-step that might help 1. fix encryption useing dothalo 2. open up CMR, or w/e u use. 3. open the map im CMR. 4. click sign map, in CMR. 5. ftp back to your xbox. and BTW are u modding the new maps or the old maps? idk for sure but i dont think u resign the old maps. again idk for sure, but i dont think u resign the old maps, i think it makes them not work... if u need any modding help or need/want some maps, i got some if u want them. and does any1 know where i can get cmr? because my friend needs it.. he either needs cmr or some other map resigning thing.

question everyone. is there a way to make it so u dont load the old maps without stopping ur disc because i cant stop it or listen to it.
there is a small hole near the upper lefthand corner, where your led light is. stick a paperclip in there until u find a small button, whaen it is pressed your dvd tray will open slightly without your xbox rebooting. pull the tray untill the disk completely stops. (some newer xboxs will just reboot)
