Modded Pal Wii with Pal Wii Music can I update???

    Hey I have a modded wii and when i put in the wii music backup disk it asks me for if i want to update can i go ahead or not???
    Both Wii and game are both pal

    Same region is ok. Different region equals a chance of bricking.

    Hi - Not wanting to contradict a senior member but a post by elk1007 today 22nd Nov seems to put this in doubt and having the same problem I am unsure whether to go ahead and do the update as requested onscreen.

    Perhaps if you followed 'Wiichess' advice could you be kind enough to say whether it worked or not.

    i just picked up my console that had been chipped and the guy TOLD me to go hire this game to get the latest update and mine is pal

    Well, did anyone here update off the Wii Music disc without any issues to their previous backups been affected?
