The problem that I am having is that I was trying to get the image on the screen to fit right so I was playing around with the settings in xbmp. I changed it to ntsc-j, wich I now know is for Japan. The problem I am having now is that when I turn the xbox on it just keeps rebooting with no display. So far I cannot get anything to boot in the drive (slayers, hd mannager) I was wondering if there is anyway to fix the problem or if my box is now nothing more than a foot warmer. Thankx.

Yes. You switched your region settings. You're eeprom won't load correct which is why it did this. You need to download "Enigmah Video Mode Switchdisc"
You need to burn it to a dvd-r with a dummy file. Then it will load the disc and you press B to switch back to NTSC.

If it keeps resetting, I am afraid you will have to temporarily install a modchip.
I have fixed many of these just like this.
If you are softmoded, it is unfixable...without a chip.

If you can get that enigmah to load, you are golden!

Perfect. Is the X3 already installed? Can't be.
    Anyway.
I would reccomend doing the wire install of the chip so you can remove it after you fix it. I use an X3 to fix boxes like this too!
You will still need to make the switchdisc. You can download Enigmah Video Mode Switchdisc off of #xbins. Here is the tut for getting on xbins which is your only source for xbox apps.

You will need mIRC and an FTP program like FlashFXP.

When you download the files, you will need to put a dummy file in the folder and make an Xiso out of it so the Xbox dvd rom can read it. Use Quix or Craxtion for making Xiso's. They are on Xbins also.

Good luck and if you can install that chip, your xbox is as good as fixed.

The chip is already installed, when I was messing around with xbmc, I accidently changed my region from ntsc to ntsc-J.Now when I turn on my xbox it stay on the xbox logo and will not allow me to go to dashboard or play any disc from my hard drive. I have the 4 blank set swith but that is of little help. When I try to boot nothing happens.

Have you tried booting to backup flashbios by pressing eject and reset at the same time?

Is it constantly rebooting, or are you just getting no sound or video?

I am getting no sound or video, I am stuck at the startup screen. I just burn the anigmah video disc and I am trying to see if that will help. I have the 1234 blank, and have tried to reboot but it only takes me to the flashbio page which is constantly going vertical on me..

Ok so you got the enigmah burnt. Good. You will be flying blind, as you will not be able to see. But that's the beauty of the program. Just load it up and give it enough time until you think it has loaded, then just hit B and then reset. It should switch you back. Enigmah only has B-NTSC A-PAL

You don't have to do anything with your switches, just make sure they are set to load the hacked bios.

I have Enigmah installed as an application however when I go into the program itself and switch it to PAL by pressing A, my screen starts jumping. Its hard to see the screen to change the settings to NTSC however I've memorized the screen so I manage to change the settings. BUT HOW CAN I FIX THAT????? I have XBMC as my dashboard and I even went into the settings for make it auto-switch however its still not recognizing my games
