yeppers, this thread will probably be shut down soon.

But why $350? ebays has xbox brand new for $189.00, then you but Xecuter 3.0 CE for $65 including shipping. Then you spend about 1.5 hours installing the chip, then download the right dashboard and bios.
And a 160gig hard drive ($29.00) from best buy with rebates so roughly about $40 including tax.

    So, totaling: $189.00 + $65.00 + $40.00 = $294.00

And that is for a brand new spanking XBOX. Just imagine if one uses a used xbox from ebay (only $130.00)

So, best place for you to sell it is on ebay. just becareful about your wordings. and sell it at a reasonable price to!

For the price you are asking, most online stores sell premodded xbox close to $350.00 and brand new too.

    hey dude,

I am not crazy, I purchased 5 160gigs @ BestBuy the day after thanksgiving sale. And yes it was $69.00, then I get a $20 rebate from BestBuy and another $20 rebate from Western Digital. Dude, the rebates take a while to come but they sure do come about 3 to 4 months.

I guess you were still in bed when the day after thanksgiving sale was going on all over the nations?

where here's the tip with selling it on ebay. Don't use words like "modchip", "mod", "chip", etc.

try something like this: "highly enhanced xbox with the great X to it", or "special features", "email me for more details", etc. stuff like that. You can say that you install a bigger hard drive. Just let ebay knows that it is not a modchip mod but an enhance feature with the hard drive. remember to put it in big red bold letters.

well, you can start the bid with $169.00 with reserved price @ $295 or $300 your choice.

Dude, I once sold a solderless mod chip there and it was sold within an hour. I used the correct wordings that people would understanding what I am selling.

    hopes this help

    @ celtics8

This isn't ebay and we don't appreciate people wasting forum space with personal ads. Let's have a look at the forum rules, it's easy - there's a link to them in my sig ;)
