modded xbox freezes on green xbox screen

I have a modded xbox with a xenium ice chip and a 120 gb hdd. It has worked great for 8 months and I love it. Now when i start it, everything works on the first xenium page but when i try to launch anything it freezes on the green xbox screen. The hard drive still sounds like it's doing something though. I've looked around and it sounds like hard drive failure. Help from anybody would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Cause im not standing over your Xbox i cant tell you exactly whats wrong, but maybe try a fresh install of all you stuff. Even Slayers would be good. sucks if you have stuff on the hdd that you dont want to part with though.

 

if after all that than than maybe you need o replace ur harddrive.

 

I hooked up my xbox to my computer with flashfxp and when it connected it found nothing on my xbox harddrive, just the folders. So i think my harddrive is bad. Thanks for the reply.

 

I was having a similar problem a while back with my 4983.06 bios freezing on the flubber screen so I reflashed the chip and all is well now........give this a try first and hopefully you won't have to reformat the drive and reinstall all your apps and games..etc..etc
