right ive found the files and have soft modded my xbox the Mirc program was useless there was no need for it i have all the splintercell files if anybody wants them btw but i now have more problems 1. xbox live - if i play halo after installing the mod and evox it goes to the trouble shoot page and if i click troubleshoot the xbox flashes red and green and it says call customer support??? how do i set the xbl settings back to automatic without reverting to the ms backup?? 2. also ftp i have set up the network connection it connects to the xbox but it doesnt show no files to get the halo maps can anyone help me with these please and i'd me more than happy to help others on what i know so far which is basically to soft mod it with the files i can send you ta!
When you sign on to xbox live microsoft scans your xbox hdd for the presence of files that shouldn't be there, in this case softmod files. If they are found on your xbox you will be banned. Also, when you ftp do the C, D, E, F, X, Y, Z drives/partions show up, or nothing.
right i now have the softmod installed and im using the unleashed x dash i have changed the ip from static to dhcp this allows me onto xbox live again and i have located my files but my next problem is where are the halo 2 maps??? all the downloadable ones etc and how can i save my copy of halo 2 to my box cud u help me with tht plz ta!
