Alright well I just tried to install the Qoob 4 into my GC and I went to boot it up and nothing happened... Well the light lit up on for the power but no laser, no disc spin, nothing. The power LED on the Qoob pro is on so I know it's getting power. When I take the chip off of the wires and leave everything soldered it works just fine so I don't think I bridged any connections except for the two that you are supposed to. Does any one have any idea what's going on here?

    That's odd.

All qoob Pro chips are supposed to come with qoob BIOS 1.0 so that you can at least boot the GC and make sure the install was successful.

If for some reason you can't flash to the first block of the chip, grab the hacked flasher on modthatcube and flash either BIOS 1.3a or 1.3c to the first block so that it will boot properly. Whatever is in the first block of memory is what the chip will boot to, so just keep that in mind.
