I have fashed my drive twice by conecting it to sata 1 on the mb to the drive then useng slax to get in to mode b. Anyway come to update it with the new firmware as ufc wont play etc and it goes in to mode b but not been shown in windows have i forogt something it also shows in bios on sata 1 once its in mode b but not in device manager or my computer etc
What are you using to flash it? I would recommend using JungleFlasher, and if you got the drive into modeB, it's not gonna show up in Windows anyways, when using Jungleflasher, so there's nothing to worry about!
was going to use jungle flasher but never used it before it normaly shows in windows tho or dont that matter no more am not up to date
If it doesn't show up in My Computer, just open up Jungle Flasher, and see if it sees the drive! All the drives I mod, they never show up in My Computer, but they show up in JF just fine, and flash just fine.
opend jungle flasher its not finding it only place it is seen is in bios on sata 1 and on the black screen when booting up
Whenever i have used slax it has always shown in windows, are you pressing eject on console when it says spinning up disk? Also when you open jungle flasher look where it says drives, not where it says port! Unless you have portio installed!
