i currently installed a frsh copy of windows xp and it says my modem is unabailable. when i got to device manger is says i have to install modem drivers but i lost the cd so i tried downloading them but it still asks for cd and ideas?
Try un-installing the modem in hardware manager then reboot the computer and see if Xp installs the drivers for you(some modems use generic drivers that xp will install automaticly) If that does'nt work down load the drivers onto a cd-r and insert it when prompted.
