k i'm sure this has been asked before but no idea on how to go about searcing for it i'm a total newb, is this how it works? i buy a mod chip get it installed, does where i get it from install everything to play games and stuff or do i got to do that myself and if so how? after the mod and software i can just play dvd with game roms on them? any games or do certin softwares only play certin games? i just wanna play the old games
When you buy a mod chip, you have three opions of installtion: 1. Install it yourself 2. Send it to a site that does modding (kinda expensive in my opinion) 3. Have someone you know mod it for you, or go online and search for just the avg joe that does mods for spare time. The mod chip can allow you to play backups and import games. Some can even let you play homebrew games. with gamecube you cant just burn the disc with the computer, youd have to use a mod chip to burn a game. with ps2 or xbox, you can just burn the game with your computer (backup) oh yeah it should play any gamecube game if you modded it correctly.
