hey i have allied assault, as the title says. and i dont think my computer meets the requirements but i dont know whats missing. everytime i run it, it says ...WARNING: missing Glide installation, assuming no 3Dfx available ...shutting down QGL GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem and then closes. what am i missing?
894mb ram 1.6ghz cpu intel penitium 4 nVidia MX/MX400 and i installed the directX 9.0 on my computer too. any other specs your looking for?
no, you need to go to what ever site your computer is (if its dell, then dell.com) and search for nVidia MX/MX400 driver. Then, download and install it and you should be good.
can you direct me to where to upgrade my mx-mx400 video card? i tried googling it and the nvidia site did not have my card, maybe because its too old. and the other websites also werent helpful.
its a pre-built ibm. i upgraded some parts though. i tried looking everywhere on google and yahoo search, but none were helpful. and i also tried the nVidia website, but they didnt have the mx/mx400 upgrade either
Hmm, windows update has drivers that you can download, so why dont you try running windows update, and see if there is any new version available.
i have tried that but i could not find it from nvidia website. mines a geforce2 mx/mx400, i guess it is too old because they only go down to grforce7. if you could find one there, then do tell
hey waymon it worked!! thanks alot, i didnt know the link you sent me would also work with the mx/mx400 until i looked at the supports. thanks again.
so in what way does upgrading whatever your talking about helps? I know it doesn't improve RAM or anything but what? Anything really nice. I'm sorry im off topic but i got a Dell D600 laptop and i dont think internals have been updated. It's not letting me run marvel vs. capcom 2 with NullDC. What way can i see what are my specs and to see if i need an upgrade or not. Thanks in advance.
im not sure what the upgrading did, but it helped. google everest program or geek something. i just put 'everest geek' in. and its a program that simply runs your computer check for like 5 seconds and pops up with specs. you also have to install it. its safe.
