    hello everyone...

my friend has a moniter problem, which is strange and i dont know whats going on so.. i said i'd try and get some advise

basically he has a 'HP F1523 [15" LCD] (CNC3280LBJ)' moniter apparently with built in speakers, and he says that when he turns the volume up loudish.. the screen goes off..

he's already replaced his drivers for the moniter and graphics card.. and checked that its plugged in correctly and that his graphics card is not loose.. i don't know what else to try...

    i would appreciate your help

    thanks

see if happens in safemode & in the computer bios to see if hardware or software problem.

hmm.. i've got no way to test it properly at the moe... he has very bvasic computer knowledge... so i will have to do it..

but.. what if i restarted it in safe mode and it still did it...

    what would you think?

and what if it stopped when in safe mode.. what could that mean?

sorry i couldn't test it it will have to wait till tommorow

if still does it in safemode than points to hardware problem. if stops in safemode than is a software problem

i had a feeling you would say that.. i was thinking the same thing.. will have to check on safe mode as soon as possible... tho, i dont know what other software problem there can be.. i cant think of any thing else.. will most likey be a faulty moniter then.. which is probably bad luck for my friend

    thx

see if can disable monitor speakers & use regular speakers to see if still has a problem.
