I have a HP Pavilion A6037C Desktop Computer with a P5LP-LE Leonite motherboard that is having an issue on boot, where the monitor says "going to sleep" The cooling fans are working, but the DVD Rom and the Hard Drive do not seem to be responding to the system. It almost seems like the PC is in a suspend or sleep mode. I have tried everything, adding a new video card, reseating the memory and video card, clearing the CMOS, and emliminating all peripherals. Still with no result. I have tried starting PC in safe mode, reseting factory settings, I have done it all. I have read many Forums, but no-one has seemed to post a solution. Does anyone have any idea what to try or possibly may have a fix? Much appreciated if you do!
If you never see anything, that is a complete system failure (failed POST) - usual cause is the PSU, RAM or Motherboard. Start with the RAM first as its the easiest to check. If you can see stuff up until the system goes to load windows, it may be a faulty graphics adapter.
