    guys i decied to get this monitor instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824255001 along with the hdmi cables here

    and the Microsoft Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable and i was just seeing will this let me hook up my 360 and have 1080p and about audio how would i go about hooking them up to my 5.1 computer speakers and here the link to the speakers i have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121126

    As far as I am aware, the 360 doesn't support 5.1 surround sound, you will have to use stereo on your speakers or use pro-Logic to upscale the sound to 5.1
    As for the monitor, simply use an HDMI cable straight from the 360 to the monitor, it should just be that simple.
    To use your PC with it, just use a DVI cable, leave HDCP to the 360 Elite. (The white 360 can't produce 1080p, only 1080i or 720p)
