Didn't know if this was the right place to post. I live very close by a 1500' ft radio station tower. I just bought a new 7.1 suround sound system and my problem is the receiver picks up the radio station even when I watch TV & DVD's through the receiver. Also my 5.8g cordless phone also picks up the radio station on it. Even if I unplug the phone line. I've emailed Monster with no replys in a week asking if their Monster Clean Power would filter out the radio station I assume coming over the power lines. I don't see any other place it's coming from. Anyone know if it would work? Here's their website. http://www.monstercable.com/power/CleanPower_Stages.asp
it may help but the signal from the radio station can be picked up by audio cables which act as an antenna or video cables the same way i would get in touch with the people who own the radio station they are responsible for the problem if this fails get in touch with the FCC in washington
That's just conditioning the power...I think you would need further more line conditioning for antenna's and other sources.
Got the stage 3 unit 2 days ago. Hooked everything on my entertainment rack to it turned it on and the radio noise(even when watching dvd's) in the background is history. I'm really happy it worked. Got it at Amazon for $159.99 + shipping $24.99 everywere else I looked was $399.99
