Hey, For MonsterHouse. I used DVD Decryptor 3.5.4.0 to rip the main movie. Open DVD Decryptor, click "mode" menu, select "IFO". Select Chapter 1 in the chapters column, in the cell column select only cell 32 (right click de-select all, then left click to re-select cell 32-at the very bottom), select a directory to save it. Let her rip. After the ripping was done I used Nero Express to re-code and burn to cd. When using nero express only add the .vob file, do not add the .ifo file. Nero will make it's own .ifo file(s) making the need to edit the .ifo file from the disk un-necessary. No fuss, no muss. I have no use for the extra's (useless garbage about how the movie was made and crap) all I wanted was the main movie and thats what I got. If ya do it my way, you get a 4.6GB .vob file that fits nicely onto a regualr dvd-r 4.7GB disk and no B.S extra's. Whatever turns yer crank.
Hi, I'm new to this board but want to address the Monster House issue. I tried AnyDVD 6.0.8.0 last weekend with DVD Shrink and could not get it to work no matter what I did. Last night, I installed the update to AnyDVD, which is version 6.0.8.2, and everything worked fine. I did a full disk and a single movie re-author and had no problems at all.
THe above method works, follow ths with the wizard and you will have no problems. I have did this for many years, and have only always used dvd shrink with Any DVD, but now things are getting a little tricky so use this for Monster House: ripit4me,using the wizard provided. then dvddecrypter, then fixvts then to dvdshrink. All you have to do is follow the wizard. Took me an hour to burn. And I dont think I got anything special so thats it! have at it.
hi, i'm running windows ME, and when i tried to use those programs, i get a message telling me that ME it's not supported, do i have to go to windows xp? thanks.
This movie is pissing me off. I've tried the latest versions of AnyDVD w/ CloneDVD.Tried using them together & also tried using AnyDVD Rip to HD . Tried DVDFab Decrypter 3.0.3.5 & also DVD Decrypter. Tried ripping to HD. No luck w/ any of these combos. I don't want to use any of the freeware examples...RipIt4Me, VOB_Blanker. I payed for the softwares mentioned above & want them to work. I can't find DVDFab Decrypter version 3.0.2.8 anywhere online. I've seen that some folks have had luck w/ it. Did help PLEASE..! SOFTWARES THAT I HAVE ON MY PC ARE....All latest versions Nero Recode AnyDVD CloneDVD DVDFab Decrypter DVD Decrypter & Shrink DVD
Yoda1bug can you give me some help w/ the way you said w/ DVD Decrypter ? I tried following your instructions . I got lost after selecting IFO mode. I didn't see anything about cell # 32 ? Need help.
@dabig25 What problems are you having? I used AnyDVD & CloneDVD, AnyDVD & Shrink and RipIt4Me. All handled it. I still have the exe for 3.0.28b for dvdfab if your interested.
yeah let me try the exe for DVDFab 3.0.2.8. I don't understand it. Others have said they had no problems using Clone w/ AnyDVD. I don't know what I'm doing wrong ? It gets about 70% copying files, then I get an error message ?

Do you get the media error w/ Clone when it's burning or encoding? For the download what problem are you having? You don't need an account w/ rapidshare just click on the free option and wait so many secs and enter a code they give to d/l.
@dabig Out of curiosity, what Regions is your MONSTER HOUSE? Here, try this one (DVDFAB Decrypter 3.0.2.8Beta) http://rapidshare.com/files/1893001/DVDFabDecrypter3028Beta.exe.html - I was able to rip successfully and backup using this version. Some of the newer versions from DVDFAB are having issue ripping due to some nasty bad/corrupted VTS on VTS_22. You'll see what I mean when look at the completed log from RipIt4Me below. However, I'm sure Fengtao has fixed it with the latest DVDFAB Decrypter 3.0.3.5, at least he said so via version "3.0.3.2Beta" from the "history version log". I seriously don't know why you can't rip MONSTER HOUSE via RipIt4Me, I got a successfully ripped using RipIt4Me 1.5.3.0 with FixVTS 1.6.0.0. However, RipIt4Me did take a little bit longer that's all. Again, like I said on page 2 of this thread "MONSTER HOUSE, US Region 1" has tons of bad/corrupted VTS, Tiny Cells, bogus junks, plus tons of junks. **NOTE: the original DVD is 7.95GB. However, both RipIt4Me and DVDFAB Decrypter showed 7.16GB when it's completed. Isn't this ironic? Hmmmm... that's definitely loaded with junks and craps. Anyways, here's my successfully RipIt4Me log (RI4M 1.5.3.0 & FixVTS 1.6.0.0)
alkohol I was trying out w/ the latest version of DVDFab........3.3.0.5 I'll try to download that 3.0.2.8 version again.
Well, give 3.0.2.8Beta a shot and keep us posted. However, I still don't know why your not able to rip it using RipIt4Me? I did it with both DVDFAB Decrypter and RipIt4Me smoothly without any issue.
Well I tried DVDFab version 3.0.2.8 w/ no luck as well. At about 70 % also got a reading error ? Just like w/ Clone w/ AnyDVD.
