Does anyone know of a filter or program that will make mp3's sound more natural. I've noticed that mp3's have a digitized sound to them(sound a little harsh), would like to take the edge off
of them(sound a little more natural). I know mp3's will always have that processed sound.
    Thanks

The sound quality of an .mp3 is souly based on it's encoding. If it sounds crap after the EQ, then it is. Personally, i prefer .FLAC (zero compression lossless audio) instead of .mp3 since it's a 1:1 version of the song with no audible artifacts.

If you can't find what you're looking for in .FLAC, look for the highest bitrate possible (320kbps is the highest common .mp3 compression). I will -never- make a CD with .mp3s that are 160kpbs or lower.

and use VBR (variable bitrate) when encoding mp3s...MUCH MUCH MUCH better than constant bitrate
