    you can edit your own post yourself just click on the little picture of a persons head on the top right hand of the post you want to edit. This is only avilable to you on post that you have submitted.

    As of getting the PAL message I get that all the time when I convert AVI to DVD (NTSC). So if your wanting to convert to NTSC then choose not to switch it to PAL. Just keep it the way it is set up.

    It depends where you reside as to what format you choose, either PAL or NTSC. Australia for example use PAL whereas the USA operate on NTSC format. The fact that it didnt play on your friends player is more than likely that it doesnt accept PAL format.
    Where do you live.

    @larrylje, I am a slow typer.

    If your in canada then you use NTSC. So when it says there are more PAL then NTSC do you want to convert to PAL say no. There is an option somewhere that you can disable that part when you get that warning.

    I think you can also check a box next time it comes up again which says dont ask this again. Keep it as NTSC format dont let it switch to PAL. That is why your frineds player probably couldnt play it cause his DVD player isnt PAL compatible.
