more weird playback experiences!

i've posted in the past about my panasonic SC-HT70 dvd/ht system not playing a burned dvd the first time i tried. i have been using memorex DVD+RW discs and other than the 1st one, all the others have played...until now, sort of. i just burned one and it did not play right away. display said "no disc." so, i took it out and put it back, still "no disc". turned it off and on couple times, same response. finally took out disc, turned off, then on and put disc back in and it played! and remember, as i said in the past, according to my player's owner's manual, it doesn't play DVD+RW. after that, i burned the same movie onto a maxell DVD-R(which my player is also not supposed to play) and it played w/ no problem. i guess i don't have anything to worry about since it has played two different formats and brands. i just wondered if anyone else has experienced anything like this or am i "special" :~)
