What is a somewhat inexpensive reliable option for being able to play PS2 backups?? I have a modded PS2 and have no issues but my friend is not willing to mod and he asked me to try to find out for him whats best....Swap Magic??? I know it is not supposed to work with every game but I read somewhere that there is a site called swapmagicfix that is supposed to have patches..so is that a good alternative to mod chip??What else is out there ?? and any links are also appreciated...

Look i jst found the deal of a century. hd advance for only $23.99. The last time i saw a deal like this was never! I mean this was 34.99 and now its this much. ya if you're looking for cost-effective method then the slide/flip top and swapmagic is probably the best bet. I personally am using a mod-chip and I love it. No hassle of swaping required, just put the game in and that's it. Never had a problem booting up any game whatsoever and I've had it for 4 years now! Still going strong!
