Motherboard wont swich on

    Heres my problem, i have brought a new mobo, Asus A7V880, i put 2 x 512mb PC2700 memory in, a 9600XT card, Sempron CPU, 400W PSU, 2 x HDD, 1 x DVD R/W Drive, and i switch it on and it turns the 9600XT Fan about half turn and dies, and it keeps repeting this, ne1 with any ideas would be much appricatted.

    check your ide cables to see if in right way. disconnect all cables to drives, remove all cards except video & 1 stick of ram, reseat those plus motherboard power connector(s), check that the cmos jumper is in right position as been known to come with jumper in clear cmos position instead of normal position. take board out of case & isolate it from case or also take psu out of case to see if a grounding problem

    fixed it, undid all screws holding it to and turned it back on and it worked so redid all screws and worked, damn am i please, thanks for ur help
