If I encode to MPEG-2 for SVCD, quick motions in the video have horizontally stripey lines and I can't get rid of them. I have used the slowest setting for motion (high-quality) and nothing helps.

My OS is XP home w/ P4 1.5 mghz processor and 512 mg ram.

Anyone run into this before? If so, how did you solve it?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

motion blur? Try encoding a small section with the field order reversed to your original setting.
