Motion estimation setting

    My capture card offers motion estimation settings (between 0% and 100%). What does this do and what settings should I use for best results?

    For DVD quality captures I use 75%
    For SVCDs capture I use 50%

    The Motion estimation settings specs I'm not totally sure about but these 2 settings seem to work quite well with most needed capturing.
