well, i have a tmobile razr...but, from what i know, the only way to change the text message tones to a certain person is the same way you would set up the certain ringtones for each person....just set up a cert ain ringtone for whoever, and that the incoming text messages use the same ringtone you have set for that person. damn, that may confuse you, lol....but feel free to ask if you don't understand
Thanks alot for helping. I sat down with the phone again and managed it this time. I had to go into the "loud setting" then push right cursor key and I found another drop down menu, went to text message then assigned the ring tone of my choice.
