I have motorola v3 and i want to install software that jad.file and jar.file into my v3. But i cannot download it from my pc to the phone. it says the file not recognised.
Hi Ollie, You need to do a couple of things to get games onto your v3. Download p2ktools and motorola drivers to get the program to work with your phone. Here is a link for both the program and drivers: http://www.motomodders.net/Default.aspx?tabid=77 When you open P2ktools, click on "switch-to" and click p2kmode. Your phone will now link up and a little red light at the bottom of the screen will turn green. Then click on other features and turn on the JavaApploader and click "save options". Turn off your phone then turn it back on and it will appear in the Java menu. Once this is done you need 2 more programs called JADmaker and JARul. Here is the link for both programs: http://www.motomodders.net/Default.aspx?tabid=83 All you do with JADmaker is open program and drag your JAR file onto the screen and it creates a JAD file what you can upload to your phone. Once you have your JAD file, goto your phone click on settings then Java settings and you should now see JavaApploader, click on it and it will then say insert cable. Plug your USB cable into your phone and it will say JAVAuploader activated/ready. Plug it into your computer and then open JARul and click on "open JAD" Once you have chosen the JAD file for the game you want to upload, click upload and it will go to your phone and then your phone will say Download. Click on Download and the game will be installed onto phone. If JARul doesnt work first time, change the COM3/COM4 setting in the left hand corner of the program and it should work for you. Firstly, install motorola drivers, you have to do it about five times as there is a different driver each time you click on the file, so when it says installed, click on it again until they are all installed. 2.
