I just bought phone about a week ago,And I went out and bought me a 1 gig MicroSD transflash card thinking I could put movies onto the phone and it didnt work. It says it will play video in mpeg 4 form and media I had was, But computer would reconize video but phone wouldnt. Just wondering if anybody else had phone and new if you could put videos on phone or can you just play video you made with phone? talked to nextel support and no one had a clue.
you need to convert the video to a .3gp extension; this is the only solution i know ... the problem is after converting to this format the audio is really crappy(same as the audio quality of videos you record with the phone: nothing special) and the visual's decent but again, nothing special. I use ImTOO Video Encoder to do this. You also have to make sure that the frame rate is 15 frames a sec. (I'm pretty sure that it's 15 but not positive because I haven't done it in a while); If you did everything correct... use your 1gb microsd card to transfer the video and presto! you have a working video on your phone.
